Its been a great run for The 19th Birthday Party Installation at UBC’s Wall Institute. We’ve been thrilled at the turnout and the media coverage. But most importantly, we’re really happy to be adding to the growing conversation about the enormous challenges faced by youth as they transition out of government care. We’re glad to hear that UBC is working toward joining several other post secondary institutions in providing free tuition for former youth in care. We’ll look forward to the official announcement!
This Monday, April 7th, Sharon and Corin will pack up the installation and bring it back to the east side. We’re joining an ATSA exhibit at Gallery Gachet until May 25th.
